HGO, a South African story - First of all, HGO stands for "Hubert Grimonprez Organization". Hubert was born in Brussels (Belgium) in 1962 and grew up there. Although his main tertiary education is a BBA (Bachelor of Business Administration) his calling is to work as a project manager in the Multimedia arena. In 1991, he left Belgium for South Africa and got his first significant experience of one year in visual communication at Digital Pictures. In 1997, he came back to SA and worked for Haptics with Don Searll an internationally well-recognized movie director. Three years later he started HGO South Africa. In 2003, Hubert went back to France and works in Normandy (West side of the country). HGO -TTC is now a French company which still operates on the South African scene once a year.
